Arise 3 week Film Screening Series Begins!

February 29th, 7.30pm at two locations:

Film: Who Killed the Electric Car

Film: The End of Suburbia

(Keele & Bloor area)

With more details to follow about the following weeks leading up to 'Earth Hour', a worldwide effort to reduce energy use to virtually nothing for one whole hour on March 29th.

These screenings will be followed by discussion about the content of the documentaries, specifically when possible with professionals in the fields discussed. The idea being to educate viewers about these topics and effect change in their own lives, as stewards of the earth.

Snacks are encouraged, preferably homemade, little or no packaging.

Also, should these screenings be well received, we will consider doing further screenings in the vein of ecological awareness and social justice.
